Buttermilk Scones

4 c flour
2 T baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 T sugar
225g butter
1 ½ c low fat buttermilk (1 ½ c low fat milk with 1 ½ tsp vinegar added - stand for 10 mins)
Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl. Rub in butter. Add buttermilk and mix in with a knife. Knead on floured bench and pat/roll out to 1 inch high. Cut into rounds. Bake 12 minutes @ 200C fanbake.
Makes 16.
